Hello and welcome to my website! Here is a little bit about me and how I became a full time artist. I have been creating art in one form or another since I was a teenager. Growing up in Quebec city I began painting landscapes in oil and now work mostly in acrylic. Although mostly self taught I have completed a variety of courses and art workshops over the years at The Ottawa School of Art and from a number of accomplished artists in Canada and the USA. My passion is clearly coulour and I draw my inspiration from nature’s ever changing palette. Painting is my first love however my recent training in sculpting and pottery have added a greater dimension to my work. Now retired, from a career in the Aviation industry I live on a lake with my husband and Barley, my Golden Doodle. You can find me in my studio above the garage, when I am not travelling or visiting family out of town. People say my art is happy! I love that!! |
